Usage and billing

The Usage metrics page contains information about your cluster’s CPU usage.

Use the Date filter drop-down menu to select a date range.

Usage summary

The Usage summary section shows the following information about your cluster’s CPU usage:

• Start date: Beginning of the date range.

• End date: End of the date range.

• Aggregate vCPU time: Total amount of vCPU usage time in hours.

• Average daily usage: Average daily vCPU usage time in hours.

• Min cluster size: Minimum number of vCPUs used at any one time.

• Max cluster size: Maximum number of vCPUs used at any one time.

• Cluster restarts: Total number of cluster restarts.

The Cost factor field allows you to estimate the cost of running your cluster. Enter an estimated hourly cost for running your cluster and see the aggregate Estimated cost for the date range.

CPU usage summary

The CPU usage summary chart shows the cumulative CPU usage for your cluster. Drag your cursor over the chart to view the cumulative CPU usage on a specific day and time.

Click the Download usage metrics to download a JSON file that contains the cumulative CPU usage for your cluster. Click Send to Starburst to send your CPU usage data to Starburst Support.
