Cluster configurations #
The Cluster configurations pane has two sections:
- Autoscaling
-
Administrators use this feature to define and name custom autoscale ranges of minimum and maximum numbers of workers that a cluster can automatically scale up to and down from to meet heavy query processng demands. Specify a custom named autoscale range in the Cluster type field when adding or editing a cluster’s definition.
- Scheduling
-
Administrators use this feature to define and name a custom timeframe such as 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM during which a cluster is always running and does not automatically suspend. Specify a custom schedule by name in the Idle shutdown time field when adding or editing a cluster’s definition.
