Release 390-e STS (21 Jul 2022)#
Starburst Enterprise platform (SEP) 390-e is the follow up release to the 389-e version. It includes all improvements from the following Trino project releases:
This release is a short term support (STS) release.
Trino 390 introduces a raised requirement for the Java runtime version. SEP 390-e therefore requires a 64-bit version of Java 17, with a minimum required version of 17.0.3.
SEP with Java 17 requires additional configuration parameters in the
etc/jvm.configfile. See the example JVM config for more information.
The release adds a new target catalog parameter to the cloneDataProduct endpoint of the data products API. This new parameter is mandatory, which breaks existing configurations that use this endpoint.
