Release 395-e STS (22 Sep 2022)

Starburst Enterprise platform (SEP) 395-e is the follow up release to the 394-e version. It includes all improvements from the following Trino project releases:

This release is a short term support (STS) release.

General

• Improve readability of data product ratings.

• Fix issue where UI displays detailed information for incorrect role when switching between roles and clicking the Add privilege button.

Data products

• Require schema and domain selections when cloning a data product.

• Add required label to the SQL Query example field under data product usage examples.

Delta Lake connector

• Change the hive.security catalog configuration property to legacy in Delta Lake catalogs. The recommended alternative is to configure the delta.security Delta Lake catalog configuration property.

Kafka connector

• Add Starburst Kafka connector support for Cloudera schema registry with optional Kerberos authentication.
