Starburst Enterprise platform (SEP) 396-e STS has been released as a follow-up to the 395-e STS release.
The release is based on Trino 396, which includes the following noteworthy changes:
- Improved performance when processing strings.
- Faster writing of array, map and row types to Parquet.
- Support for pushing down complex join criteria to connectors.
- Support for column and table comments in BigQuery connector.
